The Tioman range is high backed and incredibly comfortable making it a great seller.

The design is available in two materials, sea grass (shown in picture) and core rattan (see Hotel). The sea grass is hand twisted and then hand woven, whereas the core rattan is extruded from the ‘core’ of the cane and then hand woven. Both materials are ideally suited in the making of conservatory furniture.

Build Quality Information:
Virtually every rattan/cane suite arrives in the UK flat-pack. The import companies try to save money on shipping and transport costs due to the fact you can ship higher volumes this way.

But flat-pack rattan furniture has quality floors, building furniture this way means each sofa and armchair has unnecessary joints, which with time can create movement and weakness.

Our Tioman, Hotel and Golf collections are built to the highest standard using a mahogany hardwood (not cane or soft wood) frame, the rattan/seagrass is then hand woven around the frame, making it strong. The finished product has no noticeable joins and the entire piece is stained and finished at the same time.
